Cannonball II
Ramapo Mountain State Forest in Oakland/Ringwood. Same park as yesterday but on the other side of Skyline Drive. About 2.5 miles round trip. Some ups and downs but the trail was pretty good so I hardly noticed the elevation changes. On the way back, I ate some wild blueberries.

The cache owner supplied the following historical information in the cache description:
The Cannonball Trail follows the route of a Revolutionary War era road built by Washington's Continental Army. The purpose was to move troops, iron ore and finished ammunition along this remote mountain route, out of the sight of the British, and Tory spies.
