Went to see Kill Bill this evening at Loews Palisades Center. I'd probably have gone to another theater but this mall has underground parking so I wouldn't get wet in the rain. It's a very violent movie. However, there is a lot of funny and campy stuff in there too. Rather enjoyable as long as you don't go looking for a deep plot. One thing I'm wondering is how Black Mamba was able to bring a katana aboard the airplane. Japanese airport security in this movie must be pretty lenient. :)

sprockey. Take a look at this picture in particular of the Westboro Baptist Church protesters. Their protest signs read "God Hates America", "Thank God For Sept 11" and "God Blew Up The Shuttle". Now wait a minute. Aren't those terribly unamerican and unpatriotic things to say? Furthermore, they may have an opinion about (or against, rather) homosexuality but even so, how could they turn it around and claim that God is punishing us by causing an act of terrorism and by making the space shuttle explode? What kind of logic is that?
