Saturday - South Jersey / Pennsylvania

Got my Nikon Coolpix camera back from the factory after the shutter repair. Works great now. Used it for all of today's pictures. Mostly a trip through lower Bucks County and Philadelphia County. Squeezed in another cache in Florence NJ after sunset although technically that park is open at night. Ended with breaded chicken and mango drink at the Florence Wawa.

The Travel Bug Rest Stop (New Jersey)
Central Mercer County Park in Trenton. Very close to another cache but I was thus able to use what I learned the last time and saved a bushwhack across the big ditch.

Vermilion Hills Too (Pennsylvania)
Trenton Road Park in Levittown. Muddy area. Not as good IMHO as the location of the other cache, also placed by the same cacher, in the same park.

PENNS Wood Delight You (Pennsylvania)
Core Creek Park in Langhorne. Near lake. Wet path. Everything's coming up roses. (or at least the thorns of roses)

Memorial Cache (Pennsylvania)
Memorial Park in Willow Grove. Weird park next to the Home Depot parking area. I wonder if there is a proper way to access the park without going via Home Depot.

BurnBrae Park (Pennsylvania)
Burn Brae Park in Dresher. Simple and quick.

10 tons too much (Pennsylvania)
Alvethorpe Manor in Jenkintown. Bizarre place with lots of sculptures.

Geo - 1 (Pennsylvania)
Kemper Park in Warminster. The nature trail is in somewhat of a disrepair so it was a good thing the alternate route via the mowed grass was available.

Twisted Twizzler Teens (Pennsylvania)
Wissahickon Middle School in Ambler. This cache and the next were placed by students studying GPS, according to the cache description. Rather simple and a very short walk as they didn't go far into the woods.

The Whiz Kids (Pennsylvania)
Wissahickon Middle School in Ambler.

One PM cache (New Jersey)
Rivers Edge Park in Florence. Did this one after sunset but surprisingly, park hours were until 9pm and the parking area and walkway were lighted. Picture: Moon over the Delaware River

Sunday - Long Island

Not too many caches today. Just a bit out on Long Island and back. Ended with fish and root beer at the A&W/Long John Silver's cobranded restaurant in West Islip.

PEZ Cache (New York)
Abandoned railroad tracks near the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City. Supposedly a homeless person lives there but I didn't see anyone. Found a bundle of clothing though while looking for the cache.

Polo Anyone? (New York)
Lido Beach Town Park in Long Beach. Strange place to hide a cache. Also started looking on the wrong side of the fence at first. Had to drive around to the other side.

BAMF 2 (New York)
Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown. Easy walk on horse trail.

The Borg Cube (New York)
Lakeview Cemetery in Patchogue. In the cemetery and it's easy. Picture: Memorial for the Smiths

sydwindr 3 (New York)
Long Island Motocross in Yaphank. Tough bushwhack all the way through bushes and shrub trees. Yes, it's a challenge but not an enjoyable one.

Sydwindr's cach (New York)
Wertheim Wildlife Refuge in Brookhaven. A 0.85-mile walk along a flat woods road.
