Received the Anthrocon Art Show packet today. I have two panels in the general section so I'll have to start matting some art. Hope I still remember how to work the mat cutter.
The Netgear MR814v2 wireless router has a problem. It just stops working after about 6 hours of use. Can't ping the router itself or anything else on the local network. I checked some online forums and found that it is not unusual (as Tom Jones would say) to have problems like that with this particular Netgear model so I'm going to have to send it in for exchange or repair.
I'm seem to be chewing through Enrollment Directors at Capella University at a rapid clip. One of them has left the school so another one has been assigned to handle my questions. So once again, I explained that there is a need for a demo courseroom because the software is new and wouldn't you want to see if it works before shelling out $1,700 to sign up? So she replied, and this is the entirety of her response: "To be honest with you I would be more focused on my education and not so much concerned with what type of format it was being delivered in." That is sound advice, of course, but in this context, it doesn't help and it misses the point.
