Originally, I didn't want to bring this up here but if I'm thinking about it this much, I might as well write it. At the Long Island Summer Cache Event on Sunday, a bunch of us had returned from finding a bunch of geocaches at the North end of the park. So we were just sitting around at the picnic area and having a second round of barbecue.
One of the geocachers started googling on his wireless-enabled PDA for, of all things, plushie sex. So of course he lands on one of the porn sites. He passed the PDA around and then he asked someone to read it out aloud for the group.
Now, I'm not especially mad about it and I don't feel that there is anything that I need to defend because I have about as much to do with the plushie porn site as a smoker has to do with a cigarette fetish site, to make an analogy. However, I should point out that it was rather boorish of him to bring up that kind of conversation topic in polite company. And secondly, he brought that up with neither prompting nor context and, as I've been informed, he has done that at other events too so that sounds to me like he has more than a passing interest in plushie sex. Maybe even an obsession, hmm?
