I may eventually have to go with GEICO anyway. My AIG policy is actually living on borrowed time as I found out that AIG is no longer offering auto insurance in New Jersey. But as long as AIG is willing to renew my policy at the low rate, I'll stay with them.
One curious thing I noticed while filling out the quote form at GEICO is they ask if you are a Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffett's holding company and parent of GEICO) shareholder. What's that all about? Do you get a discount if you have Berkshire Hathaway? Do the Class B shares count?
