Central Jersey

Didn't go that far today but there was quite a bit of backtracking. First was down the Parkway to Edison and then Point Pleasant. Then up the Parkway and up the Turnpike to hit the two rest stop caches and then down the Turnpike to Helmetta.

It was cloudy all day and rained a bit in the late afternoon. Some fall colors have appeared but not much. At Echo Lake Park, a few trees have jumped the gun and are already yellow and red.

The Black Hole (New Jersey)
Black Brook Park in Kenilworth.

Can You Hear Me Now?....Good!! (New Jersey)
Outside the Verizon office in Cranford. (which is what the cache title is referring to, of course)

In Our Hearts (New Jersey)
Echo Lake Park in Mountainside. Should be possible to walk from one stage to another but I moved the car to a more convenient parking location for the final stage.

Route 22 Relaxation? (New Jersey)
Route 22 rest area in Mountainside.

Rock The Horologe (New Jersey)
Eastman Plaza in Cranford. Tough microcache, although it didn't really take too long. Got a sandwich at the nearby Rock Cafe. (this cache's namesake?)

Roots of the Problems (New Jersey)
Roosevelt Park in Edison. The first stage was strangely in a residential area outside the park.

A Kodak Moment (New Jersey)
Point Pleasant Community Park in Point Pleasant Beach.

Quick Stop II (New Jersey)
Grover Cleveland Turnpike Rest Stop in Sewaren.

Quick Stop III (New Jersey)
Thomas Edison Turnpike Rest Stop in Port Reading.

"Rocky Road" (New Jersey)
Jamesburg County Park in Helmetta. This is a section of the park immediately behind the Helme Snuff Factory, which is no longer in operation.
