Connecticut

Went to Connecticut today as planned. Found 8 caches. After the last cache, it was still before 4pm but I decided to stop because there was an ache in my left knee and I didn't want to push it any further. All the caches were short walks and pretty easy but one of them was up a steep incline by about 20 feet with a lot of loose dirt. Not the hardest I've ever done but could be trouble if someone isn't careful.

The Handspring cache page downloads worked beautifully. I was checking log entries, coordinates, etc... for several of the caches. Saved me a lot of time on two of the caches because I saw on my Handspring that the coordinates had changed.

Also, I distributed the 4 travel bugs to 4 of the CT caches. 2 of them have already been picked up by other cachers. Boy, that's fast! Haven't finished reading the book yet so I didn't leave it in a cache. Here's a link to that book on the BookCrossing website. Yes, it's a children's book but it is furry, a story told from the perspective of a cowdog.
