I think I'm going to have to be a bit more picky about the geocaches I go for. What exactly is the justification for hiding a cache in the maintenance yard of the sanitation department, 15 feet from an active railroad track? I don't even know how something like that can get approved (more because of the proximity to the railway than the general wrongness of being in that location), and yet that was one of the caches today.
There was another cache that was a film canister hidden in a wooded area where one could easily hide something 50 times bigger. I looked for a few minutes and then decided to just drive on because there was a better one down the road. Heck with that.
Complaints aside, everything else was great. Otsego Park was nice. Argyle Lake was scenic. And Long John Silver's was scrumptious as usual.
