4-day weekend

NaNoWriMo update: 43,903 words. At around 86% of the way through the story, one of the characters finally died after a frantic but futile attempt to save him with a talking Automated External Defibrillator. :)

Went to the Toyota dealership in Ramsey this evening to place a deposit for a Toyota Highlander Hybrid that will be out the middle of next year. Planning to trade in my car at that time. It will be sad to part with a car that is almost as old as the Virgin Mary grilled cheese sandwich, but it will have to be done.

Thanksgiving Day. Not going to roast a turkey because I didn't get a free turkey from the supermarket this time around and it'll be easier to just go out somewhere to eat. I do have a frozen pie though so I may bake that for the evening.
