Last Day in VA Beach

Today, I just did the remaining few caches in Norfolk that I'd printed up. I was missing the printout for "Elizabeth on the dry side" but I got the info using my cell phone.

Hardee's again for both lunch and dinner. Had another Monster Thickburger. I noticed that the fried chicken was very popular at the Hardee's in the Little Creek area this morning. Everyone except me was having fried chicken! I had that once this weekend but I didn't think it was that special. It could be an after-church thing in that neighborhood.

Went to the Virginia Aquarium in the afternoon. They had the exhibits that you'd expect on the local environment. (marshes, Chesapeake Bay) There were also aquariums where you can see river otters, sea turtles, stingrays, and sharks. The odd thing about the Virginia Aquarium is it is divided into two buildings and the buildings are 1/3 of a mile apart. So if you want to see the exhibits in both buildings, you have to hike 1/3 of a mile on the marsh trail to get to the other building and then hike 1/3 of a mile back to where you parked. I have no idea why they couldn't just have one bigger building with an optional marsh trail loop going out the back.
