The sample copy of Photoshop Elements Techniques arrived on Saturday. At 16 pages, including the cover, it's not a very thick periodical. The premiere issue covers Elements 3's new features. It also offers an overview of the Elements 3 interface for beginners, two step-by-step tutorials, a short Q&A section, and a few filler blurbs about keyboard shortcuts.
Unfortunately, I'm not too impressed with the content. Most of it was already covered in Scott Kelby's Photoshop Elements 3 Book for Digital Photographers. That may be because the newsletter is just starting up and so they have to include some of the basic techniques, but I would expect a little more in each newsletter if they price an 8-issue subscription at $49.
