I got a swollen lymph node under my jaw on the left side. Discovered it last night. I have no other symptoms, so either the swelling will go away on its own or I'll find out what kind of infection I have later. (MedlinePlus, WebMD, and drkoop.com have an abundance of information on this.)
Anyway, it doesn't hurt unless I poke it. (Chorus: So don't poke it!) Of course, the problem is if I tell myself not to poke it, that only leads to poking it. So I have to not think about not poking it, which is how things get complicated.
The picture of the oranges above has nothing to do with lymph nodes, although I probably should eat some oranges. :)
