|A sticker in the bathroom at Stuff Yer Face
Went to the Spring Break (aka. The Ides of March) geocaching event this evening. It was held at Stuff Yer Face in New Brunswick. This Rutgers University-area restaurant is supposedly known for its stromboli.
Getting there was a bit of a hassle. Traffic came to a standstill just past the Union tollbooths on the Garden State Parkway. After waiting in the delay for some time, I saw that the problem was an accident on the other side of the Parkway. So some idiots on my side were gawking at the accident and holding up traffic. It's natural to be curious, but I wish they'd limit the looking to just a glance so as not to stop traffic.
Anyway, it was a good dinner with the geocaching regulars. (and some new faces from South Jersey I haven't seen before) Near the end of the event, I was wondering if the checks were ever going to arrive. So I mentioned that I was going downstairs to pay the restaurant. Then Quoddy told me that the one check (not separate checks as I thought they were going to do) had already been paid, and that they were short a bit so some people chipped in a few more dollars each! *headsmack* So I repaid Quoddy and Trowel32 for the extra money they chipped in. No idea what I'm going to do about the rest. Oh boy.
And lastly: Stromboli math. Funny that they exclude the zero-stuffing stromboli. Maybe it's not considered a stromboli unless it has at least one stuffing. Also, I'd like to see a really big stromboli with all 30 stuffings. That'll feed a large family.
