Okay, so it was too good to last. At the end of April, Ameritrade will transfer all Freetrade accounts to Ameritrade Izone. The difference is Izone charges $5 per trade. That was to be expected because no one can run a brokerage on zero commissions. (The Financial Cafe tried that once and they're no more.) Even so, $5 per trade is pretty good, considering that it applies to limit orders as well. Brown & Co also has $5 trades, but only for market orders. As an aside, wasn't I-Zone the name of the Polaroid camera that produces photos on stickers?
re_image is a fun community. All posts and replies have to be in the form of images.
