|A stream flows in Mahwah
"Mahwah" is probably a Native American word meaning a place where rivers and streams meet and get in between me and geocaches. :) (Actually, it is Algonquin for "beautiful." I don't know if there's another meaning in Lenape. It could well be that "rivers and streams" thing.)
The Freewater 1 geocache popped up in nearby Mahwah today so I went for it. First, I tried accessing it from the Ramapo Reservation, but I encountered lots of mud and a flooded area. So I drove over to the Continental Soldiers Park next door and tried accessing the cache from there. It still wasn't that easy, but I got there. Then I found that the cache was actually IN the stream. Uh oh. The weather was warm enough, so I took my shoes and socks off and waded into the stream to retrieve it.
Got a haircut in the evening. It's been roughly six months since my last haircut, so that's 3 inches of hair in one go. Hope no one is too surprised by that.
