The Account that Won't Die

Remember back in this entry where Penson sent me a letter saying that there was a 15-cent balance in my account? At that time, I called and asked them to transfer that balance over to Ameritrade. So that should be the end of the account, right?

Not quite. The day before yesterday, a box of checks came in the mail. Apparently, not only is the account still alive, even though the balance should be zero, but it somehow acquired the check-writing privilege!

But that's not all. Yesterday, I got another box of checks because the first box of checks they sent had a printing error. *headsmack*

In other news, new comic strips. Geez, 8 months between updates! I was beginning to think I could no longer draw these or something.
