Westchester Will Do

Sunny and hot day, but not too bad in wooded areas. Because of high gas prices, I decided not to venture too far. I'd have loved to go to Pennsylvania or South Jersey, but Westchester will do. Now there's a good catchphrase for the Westchester Tourism Board: "Westchester Will Do" While driving around lower and then upper Westchester today, I came up with some ad copy for them:

Tired of HIGH GAS PRICES?
Why go to the Catskills or the Poconos?
Westchester will do.

Then I came up with slogans for some of the towns:

"Say YES to Yonkers"
"Exciting Eastchester"
"Trendy Tuckahoe"
"White Plains: Wonder Where Your Wallet Went"

I swept Northwards through Westchester, and finished up with two geocaches just across the state line in Connecticut. The "Road Warrior Series" cache had actually been relocated two days ago, something I discovered only after not finding the cache and pulling up the cache page on my cellphone. Unfortunately, the new coordinates had not been posted yet. Still, I figured there was almost enough information in the clue and directions to try to find it without GPS. So I went to where I thought the new location was. Looked around, and found it.

For dinner, I went to Palisades Center to try the new Qdoba restaurant. I had the chicken taco salad and the tortilla soup. And it was all good.
