Central Jersey

After a few cool days, it was a hot day once again. So for lunch and to get out of the midday heat, and since I happened to be in the area, I went to Hot Grill in Clifton for some Texas Wieners and fries with gravy. I think what they have is slightly better than the Falls View Grill, but they're all good anyway.

Saw a small snake while looking for the first stage of NomaCache. It slithered away and hid somewhere in the grass before I could take a picture of it.

The town of South Amboy was harder to find than the geocache. The problem seems to be the way the highways are arranged, making it difficult for me to determine exactly where to exit in my direction of travel. I got there by cutting through a small residential area and taking US-9 the other way. Then I finally saw the ramp leading into the town's main road. I have that same problem with Secaucus. (making it hard to get raucous in Secaucus)

In Keansburg, I came across one of those parking lots where there aren't any individual parking meters for the parking spaces. Instead, you have to pay at the pay station in the center to get a ticket to display on your dashboard. This could be tricky if someone drove in and parked at the end of the lot thinking that there are no parking meters.
