Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I think I have everything I need to make the turkey lunch/dinner with a few trimmings (no need to get complicated) tomorrow. Then later this weekend, I'll take a tour of NY State, maybe North to Sullivan and Ulster Counties. Haven't done that in a while.
Taking was1's lead, I too have been thinking about some of the things for which I am thankful.
I am thankful for my parents, who have always been supportive in everything I've done and who have worked and sacrificed to give me a good start in life.
I am thankful for good health.
I am thankful to be able to live in a land where one is not persecuted for one's speech, beliefs or lifestyle.
I am thankful for the job that I have. Yes, I complain a lot and get ticked off way too much but it's a good living and I know things could be much, much worse elsewhere.
I am thankful the timing chain in my car didn't break before I got a chance to have it replaced. :)
