Up and down US-1

US-1 would seem to be the most direct way to get to Lower Bucks County and Philadelphia. It's a straight road and more direct than taking the Turnpike to I-195 or the Turnpike Extension. However, I don't use it because of the many traffic lights along the way.

Today was different because I actually had some geocaches lined up along US-1 so I figured I might as well follow US-1 the rest of the way to Princeton. "Super Sudoku" was one of the geocaches near US-1. I solved that with a Perl script a few days ago, so today, I just went and picked it up.

Came home via US-1 too because an idea I had was to have dinner in the Princeton area. The area around the Quaker Bridge Mall is full of strip malls and restaurants, although that's still not as mall-filled as malltown Paramus.

Today's 12 geocaches brings my year-to-date total to 1,096, which means I just beat last year's total! (I found 1,095 geocaches last year.)

And now, we wait for snow.
