A household tip: The bathtub drain got stuck, so all that soapy water remained in the tub for hours as the water slowly seeped past the blockage. I was wondering what to do. Then I thought maybe my parents have had some experience with that. One phone call later, I had the answer: Use a toilet plunger, but of course use a fresh one, not the one I've been using for the toilet! I happened to have a spare plunger around so I dipped it into the murky water and put it over the drain hole. Pushed down once, twice... On the third time, the water started draining away very rapidly. So it worked!
Last Sunday, I thought I had misplaced my park permit. Good thing no one was checking for permits. (Actually, I don't think anyone ever checks for permits at Edgewood, but still...) Turns out that the permit was in the glove compartment, exactly where it's supposed to be. I think I'm losing my mind, but okay, it's not a long road to madness.
Went to New Country Buffet in Spring Valley this afternoon. I don't go to Chinese buffets quite as often these days, but they sent me coupons in the mail, so I figured a $5 lunch isn't so bad. Actually, I love their setup. They have 6 buffet tables with around 140 dishes. Right then, I knew it would not be possible to sample everything, even if I took only a bit of each item. Good thing I had more than one coupon, so I can return later for the rest. :) Anyway, the food pictures: (all in "squared circle" format)
