Did the First 2 geocache this afternoon. It's a very easy walk in the Ramapo Mountain State Forest in Oakland, NJ. I was FTF, of course, but the neat thing about this cache is everyone gets to be FTF because if you're not the First To Find, you can still be the First Two Finder. Oh, the wordplay of it all! I got the First FTF prize, which is a mini LED flashlight and a ribbon.
Oil change this evening at 25,163 miles on the odometer. Picked up a free travel mug in the Parts Department to add to my collection of free travel mugs. (We're keeping the travel mug factory in China busy. :) ) While waiting, I read most of the way through Mauboussin's More Than You Know. A lot of the material isn't new to me because John Mauldin's newsletter has touched on the topic of behavioral finance a couple of times. Even so, the book is a good read as it brings in numerous insights from other fields like biology, sports, gambling, and marketing.
Then it started raining very heavily, so thankfully I didn't have any big plans for the evening. I went to the nearby Quiznos in Ramsey and had a Honey Bacon Club. I couldn't remember if I had that particular sandwich before, but according to my Flickr archive, I did last year. Welcome to our brave new future, where you can put your life up on the web so that recall is a mere search query. :)
