South Jersey - Philly side

Went to South Jersey again, but this time on the West side. Today was an interesting repeat of yesterday. The similarities: Got 10 geocaches, hot weather, horrible traffic, no mosquitoes, and here's the kicker... once again, I bumped my head (this time on a tree branch) and found the geocache at that spot. Hope I don't keep using my head like that. Might brain my damage.

Folks around this area have a predilection for hiding caches at baseball fields. Unfortunately, this being Summer, some of those fields were in use for baseball games this afternoon. One of those fields with a cache was close enough to US-130. I figured since there was a greater than even chance I'd be coming back up US-130 on my way home, I'd leave the cache for later when hopefully they'd be done with the ball game. No such luck. When I came back near dusk, they were still playing! No matter. I just went in, picked up the cache, and no one noticed even though I was just behind the bleachers. The time may have worked in my favor though. Based on what I overheard, they were focused on finishing the game so that they could get out of there before dark.

Anyway, that last stop put me practically on the doorstep (give or take a fraction of a mile) of the LJS in the town of Beverly. Not being one to quibble with happenstance, I went there and had fried fish. Finally, an LJS with a fully-functioning restroom!
