Most of yesterday evening was spent on housekeeping tasks, both in the home and on the computer, to keep things from falling into chaos. Nothing of special note there. And oh, I had reheated leftovers from the big box of Popeye's fried chicken for both lunch and dinner. That was good. I'll do it again when I get the next coupon.
Got notification that my photo was indeed used in the Schmap New Haven Guide.
On the Where's George side of things, I got a hit in Italy and found a wild george from Brooklyn.
This evening, I went to V.E. Macy Park in Ardsley, NY to visit the Macy Micro geocache. Despite the rush hour traffic, it really didn't take too long to get there.
After that, I went to Palisades Center. Took a look at the bargain table at CompUSA and saw some SoftBelly's plush toys that are actually monitor cleaners. (the belly is chamois) I was looking for a monitor cleaning cloth but this was too neat to pass up. (Side note: Ty won a trademark infringement lawsuit against Softbelly's because these monitor cleaners are similar to Beanie Babies.)
Then I went to Qdoba on the top level of the mall for dinner. The condition of the restaurant this evening was not up to their usual standard. The bathroom was unclean. The back part of the dining area had a bit of a strange odor, like vomit. (so I didn't sit there, of course) Also, the Qdoba card reader was broken and the person taking the order wasn't paying attention so I had to repeat myself. I sent Qdoba feedback at their website listing all those concerns and a few other minor issues. It may seem that I'm complaining too much, but I like this particular restaurant and I would hate to see it go into decline.
