Went for the NYRA 2 geocache this evening. It's at the Ardsley rest area along I-87 in Westchester. Of course, it gets dark earlier these days but that wasn't a problem because the whole area was lit up.
After that, I checked Moe's and they weren't having Taco Tuesday any more. So, since I had coupons, I went to the Meat Sandwich Monarch in Ramsey and got some Double Stackers.
Phone call from my parents to let me know that they've finishing moving. (so I really don't need to look for my parents' keys any more) One thing I learnt today is the reason their house is number 11A is the previous owner didn't like number 13, which it would've been because that house is between 11 and 15. Don't they know it's bad luck to be superstitious? :)
My letter didn't get there yet. What's galling is mail takes only a few days to get to Europe but 2 to 3 weeks to get to the old country! There is quite a bit of inefficiency in the old country. Also, they apparently do check a significant portion of the inbound international mail for illegal items. (e.g. porn, drugs, seditious material) Some of the letters that I sent home in the past were opened and resealed in transit.
