In September, Moo offered free samples of their MiniCards to pro Flickr users. So I ordered some and got them earlier this week. These are like business cards but with a narrower form factor. I haven't decided what to do with them yet.
Went to the post office this afternoon to pick up the geocoin that the cache owner of the Leather Neck cache mailed to me as a FTF prize. Much thanks to Viking66. While at the post office, I bought a sheet of 75-cent stamps for Postcrossing so that I'll no longer need to fit several stamps onto a postcard to make that amount. Now if the universe is sufficiently ironic, I'll start getting mailing addresses in Canada and Mexico to which the postage is 55 cents. Hmm... I wonder if there are any Postcrossers in the Marshall Islands and Micronesia where the postage will cost only 34 cents.
While I was searching for something else, I came across this list of shopping malls in the old country. Wow! It's almost as bad as New Jersey. :) To be fair though, most of those malls are closer to what I would call strip malls. However, I browsed the links and there are a number of malls there that rival (or maybe even exceed) Palisades Center in size! I also found links to websites for the malls that my parents mentioned in our phone conversations. Yes, the Mid Valley Megamall does indeed have a Long John Silver's.
