Long Island

Today was a typical Long Island cache dash. Lots of suburban parks, unnamed wooded areas, and ponds. I was on the North side of the island most of the day, then I switched over to the South side of the island to pick up a bunch more geocaches in the last two hours before sunset.

Dinner was the fried fish combo at LJS in Melville. I believe that was a pesco-vegetarian meal. :)

Gas prices were on the rise today. (10 cents/gallon jump near home.) On my way to LI, I took note of gas prices on the other side of Route 4 for the return trip fill-up. So I was still able to get $2.159/gallon. Not the lowest in this county, but the best I could do without going out of my way.
