I started the day by doing some banking and running an errand in Park Ridge since it was raining. After that, it was still raining but not as much, so I went over to the Bridgewater area to do some geocaches. Then I crossed over to Monmouth County to get a bunch more a bit closer to the event.
Funny thing about the event: Everyone was from outside the area, either from Pennsylvania or North Jersey. A few geocachers who live on the Jersey Shore couldn't make it there this evening because of other obligations.
After the event, we went out and did "BlackJack in the Blackness" as a group. This cache was designed to be found at night, and with a whole bunch of people working on it, it was done in a short period of time.
After that, I went to the nearby Wawa store in Matawan to stock up on iced tea and chocolate milk. I also had a 99-cent sundae.
