Cold (39 to 45°F) and cloudy today, with a bit of snow in the afternoon. Looks like the Easter Bunny, under the guise of MAM, left a whole bunch of geocaches out on the Southern half of Long Island, so that's where I went today. All 17 caches were easy to find, although one or two of them had a slight twist to the hiding technique.
Dinner... well, most restaurants and stores were closed at night for Easter. Fortunately, LJS in Hicksville was still open so that's where I had fried fish. In a pinch though, I could've used the Google Maps mobile app on the phone to find a Chinese restaurant. I actually tried that while waiting for my order at LJS.
Speaking of which, this phone loads geocache pages very quickly out in the field, so it was worth the upgrade. I do need a car charger, however, because using the regular charger with the power inverter is a bit of an untidy setup. So I checked Amazon and there's a car charger on sale for under $3?? Hmm. I also noticed that there are software toolkits and phone hacks available on the web. Looks like the makings of a dangerous time sink. :)
