Went the I-80 route today, finding geocaches in Western NJ and Stroudsburg, PA. It actually wasn't the best day to be outside. The heat was oppressive. Also, the overgrowth of vegetation was a hindrance. One cache, which was probably quite easy during the fall, winter, or early spring, is now in a knee-high thicket of poison ivy. Thanks, but no thanks!
Most of today's cache hunts went well though. I did two geocaches that I couldn't get to during the winter because of snow. I hope Math Teacher will forgive me for finishing Indian Falls on my own. During the winter, we got as far as the second stage before turning back because it was getting late and cold.
Lunch was at Subway in Kenvil. I happened to see it while driving by and I had many coupons, so I got a turkey and ham foot-long sub. Dinner was at Dairy Queen in East Stroudsburg because it was conveniently on my way back to I-80 from the last cache site and because I had a coupon for a DQ basket combo. This coupon is hard to use because none of the DQs near home serve burgers. So I'd been saving it for a trip out to Pennsylvania. Anyway, I got the Flamethrower Burger basket combo. Eh, it's not really that hot. :)
