Orange County

Moodna Creek

Today, I specifically wanted to target the three geocaches near Warwick that I haven't been able to get out to on weekdays because they were just a bit out of range for an evening caching spree. I did those pretty quickly and then I stayed on in Orange County to do a bunch more.

It's pretty much what I expect for this time of the year. Some of the caches were placed early in the year, so right now, access is via bushwhack through knee-high vegetation. I also finally did the cache ("Peanut Butter") near the Crystal Run Galleria. I didn't do that one on my previous trip because of interference by mall security. Best parts of the day were the scenic areas at Twin Island and the D&H Canal.

Dinner was at Arby's in Middletown. I had a Pick 5 (for $5.95) with 3 sandwiches, curly fries, and a drink.

This evening, I found out that there is a port of Minimo to the Nokia 770 environment. So I installed that web browser and it doesn't suffer from the geocaching.com login problem. Great! One problem solved. Too bad Minimo itself appears to be in an unfinished state with some dialog boxes and features missing, but there's hope yet.
