Long Island II

Long Island for the second day in a row? I must be crazy. But yes, there were enough geocaches for a second day. (and probably many more days) In contrast to yesterday's series of cache-and-dash geocaches, there were actually a few geocaches I did today that required more than a trivial amount of walking. I focused mainly on the Northern half of the island and went further out, a few miles into Suffolk County at least.

The weather was hot and humid, but at least it didn't rain until after dark when I was having dinner anyway. Dinner was at the Long John Silver's in Hicksville.

Shopped at Pathmark in Ramsey on my way home. I noticed that milk had shot up to over $4 per gallon. That actually makes gas prices look tame in comparison. Good thing Pathmark store-brand crispy rice cereal (bulk size, in a sack) is still at the same price. I can eat it dry if I have to. :)
