Didn't go anywhere other than to Ramsey to run a few errands. There were new geocaches down by Palisades State Park but I figured it would be better to save those for the weekend.
On one of my infrequent forays into the Where's George forums, I saw this post by Hank, the admin. It's about a pack of currency stickers. On closer inspection, Hank noted, the $20-bill sticker has a Where's George stamp on it. Apparently, the Chinese manufacturer, while making copies of the bills to produce the stickers, failed to notice that the $20 bill was stamped for Where's George. Ha! It could even be that they thought the WG mark was a feature of US currency.
1. At the end of today, do you think you'll feel spent or refreshed?
I think I just feel hot. (from the weather)
2. Do you like back rubs?
3. When did you last mislead someone?
There were times when to avoid having the geocache potentially get stolen, I'd not reveal to strangers who asked just what I'm looking for. But I haven't done that in a while. Now, I just tell them in a straightforward manner. (with amusing results sometimes) What's nice is there haven't been any geocaches confiscated or stolen as a result. I guess once people understand the game, they'll tend to leave it alone.

Imagine you are on your deathbed. Recommend to those who remain in your life...
1) One book to read.
I would not. Read as many as you can.
2) One movie to watch.
Haven't been to very many movies.
3) One food to eat.
Again, I would not. Sample the world's foods. (even if it's just fried fish in different styles :) )
4) One place to go.
The moon. Few have done that thus far.
5) One life lesson to leave behind.
There has to be a balance between enjoying life for the now and saving for the future. Too little of the former and you'll regret it when you're older and can't do or enjoy as much then. Too little of the latter will lead to financial problems later.
1. What is the silliest thing you own?
Screaming monkey from Woot.com.
2. What is the most important thing you own?
My self. I can have everything else in the world but if I can't depend on that, all is lost.
3. What is the one thing you'd like to possess if money were no object?
The Federal Reserve. To shut it down and return the country to a gold or bimetal standard.
But okay, that's not doable. So I'd like to own an island somewhere because sometimes, you just need to get away from people.
4. What is the one thing in your possession that you want to get rid of?
I've been getting rid of lots of things I wanted to get rid of. Well, I could throw out the old camera. I don't know why it's still sitting on the table.
5. What item do you have the most of in your possession?
