Now that the 10-day waiting period is over, I posted my log for the Jerkwater USA geocache. I hope this logging restriction does not set a precedent in this area because it is annoying. Then again, there seems to be a contingent of geocachers around here ready to help me ridicule and argue it to death. Having a gang of curmudgeons around is not all bad.
Anyway, as a followup to my previous post, I went to King Fung, the Chinese supermarket in River Edge, this evening to see if they had any products from Malaysia. When I arrived at their front door, I was disappointed to see that the supermarket has once again been downgraded by the county health department to "Conditionally Satisfactory". I hope it wasn't a mold problem.
It was harder than I thought to find Malaysian products there. King Fung imports most of their wares from China, Taiwan, and Japan. Eventually, I did find a few items and here's a picture. I got sugar cane and lychee drinks in cans, crackers in a big tin, and coconut cookies. The coconut cookies were on sale. King Fung had a few more Malaysian products that I didn't get because those were similar to the items pictured.
Of course, the old country's industries are not limited to snacks and drinks, but I would have to go to Micro Center to find more examples. :)

FedEx Ground carrier.

Neither. (that I know of)

If you were a full course meal what would you be?
soup:
Hot and sour soup. Because I'm hot (in terms of temperature, that is) and sour (I'm not mad at you; I'm mad at the dirt!), and I'm full of little bits and pieces that clutter up the soup.
salad:
I don't know. Is there a kind of salad with fried fish in it?
meat:
Fish. Fried. The fate of many fishes of the sea.
dessert:
Upside-down pineapple cake. Acerbic, contrarian, and confusing.
and what complimentary beverage would you be?
Some fruity little drink because I can't shoot whiskey. :)
