Went for the Superenigmatix geocache this evening. It was next to the Pequannock River in Pompton Plains. We're past the peak of Summer and sunset is getting earlier and earlier, so I was cutting it rather close to dusk by the time I got the cache. In fact, I only noticed the hiding spot when I was one foot away from it. Good thing there were no rabid woodchucks hiding in there.
After that, I picked up some discount sushi at Ramsey's Farm in Ramsey.
I complain about restaurants a lot, so it's only fair that I write about the good things as well. This afternoon, after a visit to the post office, I went to Boston Market in Park Ridge. I've been there enough that they know about my food photography habit. But this time, the cashier/server was really cool about it. In fact, this table setting with the flowers and menus was her idea.
Speaking of food photography, the web being what it is, it was only a matter of time before I came across a group of people who are into that activity too. And here's their website: Biggest Menu. They're really enthusiastic about food too. I posted a few pictures last night and in no time at all, I got comments, questions, and votes on those pictures. Also, I think it's cute that to vote for a picture, you click on "lick it".
