Woke up earlier than usual this morning to head out to Lehigh Lodge in Macungie, Pennsylvania, for the Breakfast in the Lodge geocaching event. As with all past Lehigh Valley breakfast event, there was a sizeable crowd. We had breakfast foods. During the event, we all headed out to a special geocache placed on the grounds of Lehigh Lodge. Left dozens of tracks in the snow in the process. I'd say after the first few visitors, no one else needed a GPS to find the cache.
After that, I went out geocaching on my own. Of course, with all the post-event geocaching activity, I visited the first few geocaches at the same time as other cachers. After that, I was on my own. I tried many geocaches. Most were findable despite the snow but a few were not. Sadly, one of the caches had been plundered. "The Cache Strikes Back" was missing its cache container. At the cache site, I found only the log book and a few items in a plastic bag.
Dinner was at LJS in Easton. I saw that they had spruced up the interior of the restaurant a bit. There is new furniture to replace the old bench-style seating.
