This afternoon, I went to The Hot Grill in Clifton for lunch. Actually, I was there for the OOOH THAT SMELL geocache, which was in the lot across the road from the restaurant but I'm not one to turn down a good suggestion for lunch. :)
Well, that geocache took all of a few seconds to find. After that, I had Texas Wieners and fries with gravy. Despite the name, Texas Wieners originated in Paterson, not Texas. These are hot dogs deep fried until they rip open and then topped with onions and chili. Fries with gravy is another local specialty, although not unique to this area.
On a different note, I noticed that distributed.net is getting pretty close to completing OGR-25. (My dnet client has already run out of packets, but that may be a keyserver glitch.) Some of the projected end dates are in mid-September, so it'd be a neat surprise if they finished it on my birthday.
