Delaware Day 1 and Geocaching Event

40-48°F. Rained all day but I still got a bunch of geocaches around the Newark area. Of course, the problem with playing around in the rain is I got all wet and muddy. So I went back to the motel to take a shower before heading out to the evening's festivities.

In the evening, I went to the Santa likes Chinese Food too! geocaching event. It was at Hong Kong King Buffet, just 1.6 miles down the road from the motel. I was a bit early but there was already a group of geocachers there. There were lots of people I didn't know but I recognized some of them from previous December events. It was a nice little gathering. In addition to excessive Chinese buffet eating, we also had a raffle and a Secret Santa gift exchange.

I'm having a good time already and I still have two days to go. Hope the weather is better tomorrow.
