Odessa, Middletown, Smyrna, Clayton, Cheswold

Sunny but cold. 39°F. This is my first geocaching foray below the C&D Canal. Didn't stray too far from US-13 for most of the day so there are still a lot more geocaches to be found but this is a good start. Also found the Hardee's that is closest to home. It's in Middletown. I'd been looking for one of these since I stopped going to Virginia Beach.

The most unusual cache site of the day was "U-Turn", between the northbound and southbound lanes of US-13. The median was quite wide there; big enough to contain a wooded area and a small parking area.

Ended the day with a geocache in Cheswold, which is only a few miles from Dover. So the next trip south will focus on Dover. I'm planning on attending a geocaching event there anyway in about a week so it would be good to learn about the area a little.
