After the event, I went geocaching in Norristown, Plymouth Meeting, Whitpain, Whitemarsh, Conshohocken, and the edge of Philadelphia. It was a hot day with temperatures exceeding 90°F at times. I took two breaks during the day and cooled off by ducking into IKEA and Target. "Assembly Required" is near IKEA, so that's how I knew about the store. Target, on the other hand, is in a large shopping area. (with 4 geocaches!)
Perhaps the most innovative cache of the day was "Gate to Nowhere". I needed to use a nearby object to retrieve the cache. The trick was to figure out what would work and how to use it. Thankfully that didn't require much dexterity. The weirdest cache of the day was "April Foolery". I found it a little late for April Fools' Day. It seemed to be tricky enough to fool a few people but it really isn't that bad.
