Emissions

The good news is my car passed the state inspection at the Paramus station yesterday evening on the first try, although the reading for NOX (What? Is the car producing laughing gas?) was cutting it a bit close. The reading was 1201 while the standard is 1242. Looks like I probably should get a new car before the 10-year mark. They didn't say anything about the duct tape, however.

Went to The Wiz after that. The closeout discount is still at 15% although DVDs and CDs now carry a 30% discount. No, they didn't have any Excel Saga. If the discount goes up to 50% I might consider getting some movies.

Also, my state tax refund arrived yesterday, only 3 weeks after filing. Not too bad.
