Make the Fish Bleed!

Sunny and 95-100°F. I planned a trip out to Souderton for The Captain's Ship has Docked geocaching event. I stopped in Springfield, part of the way up the Blue Route, to do a few geocaches. Then I continued onwards to Kulpsville, Mainland, Harleysville, and Upper Salford. I noticed that going from geocache to geocache was taking me further from the event, so I turned around and headed towards Souderton for a few more geocaches and then to Pizza Hut for the geocaching event.

Similar to our last Pizza Hut event, we took up about half the restaurant. We had the pizza buffet. This time, I picked some thin-crust slices and then got salad.

The best part came after the event. A bunch of us decided to travel 11 miles west to State Game Lands 234 in Limerick to do "The Bleeding Fish - a night odyssey". It's a night cache that uses reflectors to point the way to the cache. The coordinates provided are only for the start of the reflector trail so you need a flashlight to find your way to the actual cache. This is a longer hike than most night caches I've done but we also found "Imagine..." and "BugZBunnY" along the way.
