Chrome Barrens and Covered Bridge Tour

Cloudy and 80°F. Headed out to Chrome Barrens Preserve to do two new geocaches and two old ones that I didn't get to the last time. It was a 2-mile hike in two parts since 3 of the caches were closer to the north parking area than the south parking area. It started raining when I got to the fourth cache but that's okay since I was done with Chrome Barrens.

Since it was raining, I did the "Covered Bridge Tour of Chester County - SOUTH" cache. This involved traveling to 3 covered bridges to get information for the final coordinates. I figured I could get the info without getting too wet. Funny thing is I saw a man walking two dogs out in the rain and he was holding a nearly-full mug of beer. I didn't know what was weirder: that he was holding beer while walking dogs or that he was getting rainwater in his beer and seemed to not care about that. The final cache for the covered bridge tour was a 1-mile round trip hike so I was glad the rain had stopped by then. And after that, I decided to tack on a 1.7-mile round trip hike for "Springlawn Paper Mill" since I was in the area and since that looked like an easy flat trail.
