Delaware County - Broomall, Upper Providence, Media, Springfield

Sunny, 80-85°F. I went to the Media/Springfield area for a few new geocaches. After that, I tackled some older challenging geocaches that I'd skipped on previous trips to this area. "Saul Preserve End" was the most notable of those. I found a place to park that was just a few hundred feet from the cache site. Only problem was it's on the other side of the river! Not a problem. This is the 3rd time this week I waded across a body of water for a geocache, so I knew the drill. I brought sandals and wore them for the wading portion of the journey. I rolled up my pants but not quite high enough; at the deepest point, the water went up to my knees. Ridley Creek is about 50 feet across but it flows slowly in that area so there wasn't any danger of getting swept away.

In the evening, I went to Qdoba in Springfield to use the amazing 50%-off coupon that expires today. I had a nachos and tacos "Craft 2" combo. Looking at Qdoba now, I have to wonder how I was ever impressed with them. The menu and selection of ingredients are pretty much cookie-cutter faux-Mex. If I paid full price, I'd lament paying that much for portions that are hardly filling.
